Timing Belt Replacement Service

Your timing belt is one of the most critical components in your engine. It keeps the crankshaft and camshaft perfectly synchronized, ensuring your valves and pistons move in harmony. If the timing belt fails, the results can be catastrophic—often causing severe engine damage. That’s why timely replacement is essential. At SS MotorTrendz, we offer professional timing belt replacement based on your manufacturer’s recommended schedule.
Most vehicles require timing belt replacement between 60,000 and 100,000 miles, though intervals vary. If you’re unsure whether your belt has been replaced, it’s best to check now rather than risk a failure later. Signs of a worn belt may include ticking sounds, difficulty starting, or oil leaks around the timing cover—but many belts fail without warning.
Our technicians inspect your belt, tensioner, idler pulleys, and related components. When replacing the belt, we highly recommend replacing the water pump (if driven by the timing belt), as accessing it later requires the same labor. Replacing everything together saves you time, money, and future risk.
We use high-quality timing belt kits that meet or exceed OEM standards, ensuring proper performance and long-term reliability. Once installed, we test timing alignment, check your engine operation, and verify everything is functioning smoothly.
At SS MotorTrendz, we believe in preventative care that protects your investment and keeps you safely on the road. Drivers throughout Angleton, Lake Jackson, Danbury, Rosharon, and Richwood trust us for honest recommendations and expert workmanship..
Protect your engine—schedule your timing belt inspection or replacement today.

They have been great to work with! I’ve had to bring multiple cars for a variety of problems and they have always done an amazing job. Trust is a huge piece to the puzzle when it comes to mechanic work, and I do trust the team here. 4 yrs ago i took my diesel truck here to have a computer installed. They did a great job at the quoted price. I then moved away from the area. I have moved back and am having electrical issues with the same truck. I will be bringing it to them for hopefully a quick fix. I trust them from the previous work they performed to do another great job.
