Power Steering Service

Your power steering system plays a major role in how your vehicle handles. It allows you to steer smoothly and confidently, whether you’re navigating parking lots in Angleton or cruising down 288 toward Lake Jackson. When something in the system starts to fail, you may notice stiff steering, whining noises, leaks, or vibrations. At SS MotorTrendz, our power steering service ensures your steering remains smooth, responsive, and reliable.
Over time, power steering fluid can break down due to heat, contamination, or moisture. When the fluid becomes dirty, thick, or low, it can put extra strain on the pump, rack, and other components. A simple fluid service can help prevent costly repairs and restore proper steering assist.
Our technicians begin with a thorough inspection of the system, including the pump, hoses, rack and pinion, fluid condition, and all connections. If the fluid is dirty or deteriorating, we recommend a power steering flush, removing the old fluid and replacing it with fresh, manufacturer-approved fluid. This helps reduce wear, eliminate noise, and improve steering feel.
If we detect leaks from hoses, seals, or the rack, we’ll provide clear recommendations and explain the best course of action. We believe in transparency and offer digital inspection reports so you can see exactly what’s going on with your vehicle.
Whether you’re feeling resistance in the steering wheel, hearing unusual noises, or simply keeping up with preventative maintenance, SS MotorTrendz is here to help. Drivers across Angleton, Lake Jackson, Danbury, Rosharon, and Richwood trust our team for honest care and hometown service. Keep your steering system strong—schedule a power steering check with us today.

They have been great to work with! I’ve had to bring multiple cars for a variety of problems and they have always done an amazing job. Trust is a huge piece to the puzzle when it comes to mechanic work, and I do trust the team here. The customer service is another area that they shine in, Marie and Dylan have been great with updates and communication, very patient and understanding. Very much appreciated!

4 yrs ago i took my diesel truck here to have a computer installed. They did a great job at the quoted price. I then moved away from the area. I have moved back and am having electrical issues with the same truck. I will be bringing it to them for hopefully a quick fix. I trust them from the previous work they performed to do another great job.
